Animation: a suitcase is checked in at the desk and gets an airline claim tag, rides through an X-ray machine that finds the passport, boarding pass, proof of a delay of over three hours and EC 261 rights inside, then reaches the payout desk, where it is stamped PAID and coins pour into a tray.

Why Stop Delay?

With Stop Delay

  1. Simple from start to finish

One short online form. No letters, no legal jargon, no hold music.

  2. We do the work

Give us the details once. We take on the airline and every follow-up.

  3. No win, no fee

No upfront costs, no legal fees. We only get paid if you do.

  4. Documents handled for you

We tell you what’s needed, then prepare and file every document.

  5. Always know where you stand

Follow your claim online, with an update at every stage.

On your own

  1. Stressful and confusing

Work out which rules apply, then argue with the airline yourself.

  2. Drags on for months

    Long silences and endless back-and-forth.

  3. Costly if it goes to court

Going to court alone can mean legal fees — even when you’re right.

  4. Heavy on paperwork

The right forms, evidence and deadlines — a second job.

  5. Easy for airlines to ignore

Claims on your own often get rejected or left unanswered.

Know your rights

  1. Delayed flight

Reached your final destination 3+ hours late? If the airline caused it — a technical fault, crew shortage or a late incoming plane — you can get €250–€600 per passenger.

  2. Cancelled flight

Told less than 14 days before departure? You can get compensation on top of a refund or a new flight, unless the airline offered a very close alternative.

  3. Overbooked

Bumped against your will? You’re owed compensation straight away — plus meals, and a new flight or a refund.

  4. Lost suitcase

Bags delayed, damaged or lost? The airline is liable for up to about €1,800 per passenger. Report it at the airport and keep your receipts.

  5. Airline said no

Ignored, offered only a voucher, or rejected for “extraordinary circumstances”? Many rejections don’t hold up — we check the facts and take it further.

EU 261 pays €250 / €400 / €600 per passenger, by flight distance.
