חברת התעופה אל על דיווחה על רווח נקי מרשים של מעל 80 מיליון דולר ברבעון הראשון של השנה, מהווה עלייה מרשימה בהשוואה להפסד של 34.4 מיליון דולר ברבעון המקביל אשתקד. תוצאה זו מקדמת את החברה לקראת שיפור ההון העצמי לראשונה מאז 2019, ומשקפת את הדומיננטיות של החברה בהטסת נוסעים לישראל.

עלייה בהכנסות וברווחים

ברבעון הראשון של 2024, הכנסות החברה זינקו ב-47% והגיעו ל-738 מיליון דולר. מנכ"לית החברה, <a href="https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/דינה_בן_טל">דינה בן טל גננסיה</a>, הדגישה כי העלייה במחירים נובעת מהגידול בביקוש והיצע מוגבל, בעיקר בשל המלחמה שהביאה להפסקת טיסות של חברות זרות לישראל. גם במחירי הכרטיסים נרשמה עלייה של 19% בהכנסה הממוצעת לנוסע (RRPK).

אל על צופה המשך מגמת השיפור גם ברבעון השני של 2024, ומעריכה גידול של כ-4% בהכנסה למושב ק"מ (RASK) ביחס לרבעון הראשון. זאת, על אף חזרתן ההדרגתית של חברות תעופה זרות לפעילות. המנכ"לית ציינה כי הכנסות החברה ברבעון הראשון עלו ב-30% ביחס לרבעון המקביל אשתקד, ומצפה לשיפור נוסף ברבעון הבא.

החברה נמצאת תחת בדיקה של רשות התחרות בשל טענות על העלאת מחירי כרטיסים וניצול ציני של המלחמה להשגת רווחים חריגים. אל על טוענת כי המחירים עולים בעיקר למי שקונים ברגע האחרון, בעוד שמי שמזמין מראש נהנה ממחירים נמוכים יותר. דוחות החברה חושפים כי ההכנסה הממוצעת לנוסע עלתה ב-49% ביחס למחיר ברבעון הראשון של 2019, טרום מגפת הקורונה.

בעוד שהרווחים מרשימים, אל על ממשיכה להתמודד עם עיכובים וביטולי טיסות. הנוסעים מציינים כי העיכובים הללו משפיעים על חווית הנסיעה ועלולים לפגוע באמינות החברה. כדי להתמודד עם האתגרים הללו, אל על עובדת על שיפור השירות והגברת היעילות, במטרה להעניק חווית טיסה טובה יותר לנוסעים.

חוק שירותי תעופה והיחס לחברה

מניית החברה נסחרת כיום בשווי של 2.1 מיליארד שקל, לאחר שמאז אוקטובר 2023 השלימה עלייה של 44%. מנקודת השפל של צניחת המניה בתחילת אותה מלחמה, היא השלימה עלייה של יותר מ-110%. הזינוק הזה תרגמה החברה לגיוס של 511 מיליון שקל בהנפקת הון בחודש אפריל, מה שאפשר לה להיכנס למדדי הבורסה בתל אביב.

אל על ממשיכה להראות צמיחה והתקדמות מרשימה, תוך התמודדות עם אתגרים כמו עיכובים וביטולי טיסות. החברה מתמקדת בשיפור השירות ושמירה על שביעות רצון הנוסעים, במטרה להמשיך ולבסס את מעמדה כחברת התעופה המובילה בישראל.
